Keep yourself safe when accepting help
There are lots of good neighbours and great community groups rallying round to support people affected by the current situation. However sadly a small number of individuals have used the situation to take advantage of vulnerable people. Derbyshire Police is urging people to be vigilant, particularly over doorstep callers, during the coronavirus response. Their advice can be found here:

If you are struggling due to the current situation, and don’t have a family member, friend or trusted neighbour who can offer support, then be careful only to go through a trusted organisation or group you know – contact South Derbyshire CVS on 01283 219761 or email@example.com and we will link you up with support. available.
