At South Derbyshire CVS our Community Team are missing the opportunity to meet up with community groups at our regular Community Forums, so we have decided to host a series of special short forums online!
These special online forums are for volunteers in South Derbyshire who are organising and/or coordinating support in their local community or neighbourhood during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be a chance to chat to each other as well as our community workers in an open and honest environment, share best practice and good ideas as well as any problems or gripes you are experiencing.
On Tuesday 12 May, there will be a range of 1/2 hour time slots to choose between. The same information will be relayed at each slot so you only need to attend one.
The time slots are:
- 8:15 – 8:45
- 10:00 – 10:30
- 16:45 – 17:15
- 18:00 – 18:30.
The Forums will be held on Zoom. If you have never used Zoom before – don’t panic! You shouldn’t need to set up an account to join in. The meetings will be password protected for your peace of mind – once you have registered we will email you a link the evening before the event, which will enable to you to join. All you need is an email address and access to the internet. When you register please note that we do ask for the name of the group or organisation you are representing, this is to ensure we don’t have any uninvited guests!
