About Stronger South Derbyshire
We are a group of organisations working together to create a Stronger South Derbyshire – a district in which people, communities, groups and organisations work together and support each other.
This site has been set up by charity South Derbyshire CVS on behalf of Stronger South Debyshire, to help local community responses to the Covid 19 pandemic so we can work together, support those affected – and support each other.
South Derbyshire CVS, the Derbyshire Home From Hospital Support Service and a number of other local voluntary and community groups are offering support to vulnerable individuals who are self-isolating or struggling to meet their basic needs, and who don’t have any family or friends who can help. This includes emergency food parcels, essential food shopping, collecting medication, and telephone befriending/welfare calls. To see other local groups/organisations/businesses offering support, go to our Local Support page.
